Grape varieties and style
Pinot Noir is the main grape variety. Champagne from the Côte des Bar is often associated with fruit, spice, vinous expression and a distinctive personality.
Tradition and individual character
Many smaller estates focus on individual parcels and develop their own approaches to ageing, dosage and the expression of origin. These practices can differ considerably from one producer to another.
