What fascinates me about Mon Essentiel is the way its fruit develops on the palate.
It begins with bright white and yellow fruit, then gradually moves towards deeper, darker notes that linger remarkably long. For all its structure and precision, it remains wonderfully inviting.
This is a Champagne that makes me pause for a moment — and then immediately want another sip.
Mon Essentiel comes from Bouzy in the Montagne de Reims. The village is classified as Grand Cru; Pinot Noir and Chardonnay together form the cuvée.
