Millésime 2018 is my girlfriend’s favourite Champagne — and I can understand why.
It is fascinating to follow how it develops in the glass. With every sip, it becomes more open, rounded and complex, gradually revealing another layer of its character.
The only problem? Just when it starts showing everything it has to offer, we usually realise the bottle is already empty.
