Mes Racines is rich, expressive and wonderfully layered. Candied fruit, hazelnut, coffee and brioche unfold alongside delicate spice, while citrus and ginger bring freshness.
What I particularly enjoy is how the Champagne continues to develop in the glass. It rewards a little patience, revealing more of its character with every sip.
Mes Racines comes from Bouzy in the Montagne de Reims. The village is classified as Grand Cru; Pinot Noir and Chardonnay together form the cuvée.
