What I enjoy about L’Instant Blanc is that it never feels one-dimensional.
The first impression is bright, with white fruit and citrus, followed by toasted almonds and a generous, creamy texture. Salinity carries through to the long finish, giving the Champagne freshness and definition even as it opens up.
For me, it is a beautiful example of how Chardonnay from Bouzy can be both elegant and generous.
L’Instant Blanc comes from Bouzy in the Montagne de Reims. Although Bouzy is particularly known for Pinot Noir, this cuvée focuses entirely on Chardonnay.
